Patrick J. Callahan is a writer, artist, musician, and songwriter. Born in northern New Jersey in 1956 and raised at the Jersey shore, Patrick produced his first original musical while in high school. He started Eleanor Music Publishing to showcase his songs, before opening Callahan Electric in 1987. Known as a talented caricaturist, Patrick’s artwork was featured on a New Jersey TV12 “Dream Jobs” television segment.

At the age forty, Patrick discovered a dark family secret and began an investigation into his unknown past. The incredible story that unfolded became the basis for his autobiographical novel, Decades of Deception. He is writing a sequel to the novel, along with several other literary projects. Dunlewy Street is Patrick’s second novel – a comedy/mystery story set in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Following a successful career as an electrical contractor and electrical inspector, Patrick now dedicates his full talent to writing and creating artwork.

Patrick is happily married with two daughters and lives in his native New Jersey.

“ Eleanor Callahan was a petite blonde with blue eyes and a wonderful smile, but she suffered from a strange illness and an addiction to painkillers that sent her to the hospital many times. This condition existed as far back as I could remember and caused terrible fights between Eleanor and Artie. They trapped me in the middle, and I blamed myself for Eleanor’s illness.”
