DUNLEWY STREET was inspired by an original comedy short called THE TELEPHONIES that I wrote and produced with friend STAN STEELE in 1982. I stored my print of the video on a bookshelf… and promptly forgot about it.
Flash forward to 2012, and a chance encounter with Stan at a local coffee shop. We reminisced about THE TELEPHONIES, and considered writing a MOCUMENTARY about the making of the video. We laughed off that idea and left the shop.
As I drove home that day, I moved away from the Mocumentary concept and began to envision a monumental story built around the video short which took place in ASBURY PARK, NEW JERSEY on…
DUNLEWY STREET.
I hope you’ll take a stroll down this street of dreams…
